We have stored within us the memories of our past lives.

This is ultimately the purpose of karma-clearing work — to help us resolve the pain, the difficulties, and fears we carry with us from those past lives, so we can see ourselves and our purpose more clearly, and so can accomplish that purpose.

For most people, the net result of what they carry with them from the past lives is negative: fears, unresolved trauma, anxiety, unfinished business in relationships, negative religious programming, etc.

One of the most problematic past-life memories we carry is the memory of how we died in those lifetimes, especially if the transition was traumatic.

When we die a traumatic death, our soul doesn’t have the chance to process that trauma, and the karma that gets created is sent into the akashic field, where it gets stored in our subconscious and becomes the basis for lessons we will experience in future lifetimes.

This traumatic karma can cause all kinds of problems, especially physical health issues that mimic the way we died in a past life.

Phobias of all kinds can emanate from these past-life memories, as well as irrational fears, and even pain and marks in different parts of the body.

For instance, if we died through hanging, we might have neck or throat problems in this life. If we died in a burning building or by drowning, we might have lung issues, asthma, and allergies in this life.

These are just a few of the most direct and obvious correlations.

So I have found that by opening the akashic field, then by systematically going through a list of past-life traumatic death scenarios, we can dramatically release and resolve large amounts of this toxic past-life energy all at once.

Our incarnational process generally is the time in which we select karma to work on, then we work on it.

The death transition can mark the time when we take the karma we’ve resolved in a lifetime and the karma we’ve accumulated back into the non-physical realm, where we then work with our guides to plan our next lifetime.

However, when difficult karma occurs right at the time of physical death, it doesn’t give the soul any time to actually work through it in that incarnation.  That “bad death karma” can go immediately into the overall karmic story for the soul (the akashic field), where it can then influence and project-into other lifetimes in literal or symbolic ways.

This is never a punishment for something you did wrong.  Karma is never a punishment.  But the reliving of literal or symbolic representations of unresolved death karma gives your soul a chance to learn something, develop wisdom, and your learning contributes to the growing wisdom of the collective.
