Inspired by the moments we most want to savor, these presets evoke nostalgia for all things simple and free: the stillness of desert sunsets, road trips with the windows down, the mystery of a Western landscape, first dates with no destination.

Rather than following the status quo, these presets are grounded in the belief that the best things in life are unplanned, imperfect, and culled by instinct.

From The Daisies Presets consists of 7 color presets built into profiles, 2 BW presets, and 5 Tools (please see * below for compatibility).

Keep in mind, these presets are built into Custom Profile Sliders, so you won’t see the settings move when you apply the preset (besides the BW’s).

Before and after images below demonstrate how each preset manipulates an image with identical white balance and exposure.

*These presets ONLY work with Lightroom Classic CC (version 7.5 or later), Lightroom CC (version 1.3 or later), and Adobe Camera Raw (version 10.5 or later). For earlier versions, you MUST update your editing applications to meet the required specifications.

What is a Creative Profile?

A Creative Profile is a custom setting that can be individually applied over an already edited image. The coolest part is that because these profiles don’t affect any of the sliders in Lightroom, you can crank their intensity up or down as you please with no consequence to your edit. For From The Daisies’s color presets, we built the entire preset into the profile. This way you can turn the entire preset up or down which leaves all of the other sliders in the develop module untouched giving you the ability to make further adjustments on top of the preset. All in, this feature is a remarkably effective tool that takes an image from Wow to Whoa in a hurry.

FTD 1
This is my OG preset. My absolute fav. I think I use this one for about 80% of my work. Preset 1 gives me those warm muted tones but also doesn’t take away from those natural occurring colors.

FTD 2
This preset was intended to really bring out those blues and greens. It’s consistent with my first preset with the texture and warmth but adds that cooler tone.

FTD 3
This preset is similar to FTD 2 but gives off a vintage vibe. The colors really emphasize the blue and green tones and is great for those bright blue days.

FTD 4
This preset is a good mix between 1 and 3. I wanted a good in between

FTD 5
This preset is a sister to preset 1. I found myself loving 1 but wanting something a little softer and less harsh on the shadows.

FTD 6
I love using this preset for the photos that have lots of colors to them. This preset really helps emphasize and bring those out while keeping those neutral tones.

FTD 7
This preset was created to give that touch of film look. It’s grainy with those cooler disposable film tones. I love using this one for images shot with flash.

FTD 8 BW
I love a good black and white and this preset hasn’t been touched in years. It’s my go to BW. With the right amounts of blacks and shadows and a touch of warmth

FTD 9 BW
This is a sister to preset 9 and really adds to those blacks and shadows for a more harsh effect on BW

How to install

*For Lightroom Classic CC (version 7.5 or later), Lightroom CC (version 1.3 or later), or Adobe Camera Raw (version 10.5 or later)

1.After you have downloaded your presets DO NOT unzip the file

2.Open Lightroom and go to the Develop Module with an image

3.Click on the + icon in the Preset Panel. Select “Import Presets”

4.Navigate to the downloaded presets zip file

5.Click “Import”
